We were recommended this by our hotel (Merko) when we arrived late at night and not much else was open. And we are so glad we visited. This is the perfect place to get a sense of Albanian culture, hospitality, and cuisine. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the ambiance was really unique. We had the spinach pie and 2 of the traditional dishes - stuffed eggplant and stuffed peppercini - and it was all so very delicious! It was hot, flavourful, and really filling. Definitely worth the experience.

Has to be so far the best meal I’ve had in Albania. We had the meatballs and chomlek...incredible taste. Tried the baked cheese and sour cream too which were superb! This is a must try if you’re in Berat. Price are decent for being in the “touristic” part of the city.

Food was amazing, probably the best I had in Albania. We got the chomlek, the meatballs, grilled cheese and tzatziki (and we were served really quickly). Highly recommend it!
