The gorge is breathtaking. It is absolutely worth packing your bathing shoes and heading for the bridge. First, it is a good 300 meters still relatively unspectacular going - but always with smaller thermal pools. After the last pool it goes around a bend and then the right gorge begins. The walls rise up to 100 meters and have numerous caves. In many places, the gorge is really narrow. In the summer months, the river has little water left, so you can get into the gorge ... (sometimes it's a bit over knee-deep). Bathing shoes are recommended because the road is rocky and the water is partly muddy. You have to walk on the way again and again through the water. We walked about 1 kilometer into the gorge, it would go further.
