Hotel Marika

Really lovely hotel with the most friendly, welcoming staff ever! They speak very good English and go out of their way to help you out! Rooms are on the basic side but are comfortable with good air con. Lovely bar / restaurant on the top level with sea views. Great location next to many restaurants, bars and a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Breakfast is adequate but not amazing. Recommend.

Nicest people ever! I arrived at the hotel late in the evening after a long drive, tired and hungry. They (the family that runs the hotel) were waiting for me in front and was so welcoming I couldn't believe. They took me with their car to a restaurant for dinner and wanted to pay for it - it was a very good place with fresh fish and super tasty everything. They asked at what time I would like the breakfast to be ready the next morning. The next day, after a huge breakfast they took me to the beach (30 meters from the hotel) where they had prepared a sun lounge with umbrella especially for me. I stayed one more night than planned but would have stayed longer if I could. The hotel itself is new and cozy, the restaurant is at the top floor with a terrace with lovely sea view. I totally recommend this place. The value for money is more than excellent.
