I rented a Toyota Yaris, gasoline. The car was outwardly normal, the mirror was broken, the bumper was out of place, the license plate was crumpled. When dispensing, they showed that there is 3/8 of gasoline in the tank, it must be returned the same way. After 150 km, the car simply stalled on a serpentine (I was driving without air conditioning in the 1st or 2nd gear). The remaining fuel was 2/8, no emergency lamps were on, the car just stopped. Under the hood, the heat is clearly overheated. They rolled to the side so as not to be knocked down on a narrow slope. After 15 minutes they tried to start, on the 4th attempt it became clear that the battery was dead! As a result, a representative came from the company, looked at the car, did not start it (and it managed to cool down in 3 hours of waiting), they say everything is clear, the engine is faulty. He gave us a replacement car, wrote a piece of paper that the car was replaced due to a breakdown. In the morning, he began to demand 200 euros at the hotel for the fact that the car ran out of fuel, and he was driving it 160 km in a tow truck. On the arguments that he himself saw that the fuel level readings were normal, he does not react, they say 2/8 of the tank is empty, and I had to fill the fuel tank first! But there was 1/3 at the start of the trip and 1/4 when the car stalled! In general, it is dangerous to take a car, they will unreasonably demand money and threaten to call the police! Scammers and extortionists!
