Quality at a cost: During the sales process, they were quick to have me purchase the items etc. with promises of 8 week delivery. 16 weeks later, I just received my bed with parts missing. I was then informed that the parts were allocated to another customer and I could wait or get a refund - very little was offered in terms of compensation or even solution, they seemed keen to get me out of their hair. The wait time offered was an additional 8 weeks making King's delivery time 6 MONTHS. Buyer beware, they reallocate orders and expect you to wait for items, hiding behind the brand and name. Not recommended, would never shop here again, would never advise anyone to shop here either.

The staff were helpful and very pleasant. They helped us with anything we wanted to know, choice of fabric, add ons, and all without rushing us. The store is wheelchair accessible and not so crowded that you cannot get around to see most of it. There was no fuss moving chairs up to the table to view fabrics and they gave us as much help as we wanted. The delivery of our couch was pain free and professional. The furniture we purchased is exactly as ordered and excellent quality.

Whilst my sales experience was good the after sales customer service is terrible. I took delivery 8 leather dining chairs in December at a cost of $5000, 5 of which wobble, while all 16 back legs are incapable of supporting felt pads because they are not shaped to be level with the ground. Subsequently with body weight on them the legs meet the floor at an angle which forces the felt pad off. My new oak flooring has multiple scratches on it and I have had to stop using them. King have agreed to replace the wobbly frames but the bigger problem is the chair legs scratching my floor. Even another furniture store at the same centre sells the same style of chair, (for half the price!) and has mitred the back legs to be level with the floor. I have tried contacting King Customer Service by email to no avail so sent the email to my sales assistant in the hope that she would chase it up. I was told to call a number if I didn’t hear from customer service the next day. I did this and was advised my case manager would contact me. I’m still waiting!

A very pleasant experience shopping for a lounge! I will definitely consider returning when in need of more furniture. Excellent customer service on three separate occasions, one time being a telephone call. Very helpful, patient, knowledgable and informative. Not a rushed or pushy experience - particularly on our first visit when we spent a lot of time in the store & walked out without making a purchase. Staff were happy to provide fabric samples & brochures. Very happy customer! Looking forward to the delivery of the new lounge.

I actually had a very positive experience at the store. Maryanne was present but not overly shadowing me (which I don't like). She was incredibly helpful and efficient in showing me the fabrics and choices I had around the 2 items I was interested in. I love the sales as I felt I really got a great deal on some beautiful furniture. All in all it was a great experience and probably the reason why I will go back again. thanks
