It is a restaurant located at the rear of the Vostell Museum, from which we can even admire some work by the versatile German artist. The place, emulating the museum rooms, consists of a fairly wide and vaulted space of stone and brick, and in it all the safety and hygiene measures required in current times are faithfully fulfilled. Adequate tables, individual paper tablecloths, and simple cutlery and crockery. A good and extensive beer menu is striking, as well as the extraordinary non-alcoholic options such as the Estrella Galicia toast, difficult to find in many bars and restaurants. The attention is quick, diligent, polite and adequate, and for this part I do not file any complaints. It is with food that all or almost all possible points are lost. Following the recommendations off the menu, I ordered a portion of patatas bravas that, although the sauce was not bad at all, the potatoes were simply cooked, without the frying pan and the oil having appeared anywhere. Also off the menu I tried the lamb chops, nothing fancy and with too much fat. They are served with baked potatoes and some grilled vegetables of which only the asparagus has some grace. I also ordered a feather with cheese sauce and its usual side vegetables. The meat is tender but I am not sure if it was actually "bait". The cheese sauce, served separately, was perhaps the best thing on the plate. To finish, tiramisu "from the house", simple and still frozen in the center ... All with two coffees and drinks at around 60 euros, well above the quality of the food tasted, which added to the failures of the potatoes and Tiramisu, they force me to give a low score. I do not think I'll come back.

I give them a star, why don't they let us rate without stars. They have treated us with absolute arrogance and arrogance. We came here with a lot of desire after spending a great day in Cáceres and a great walk through Los Barruecos, but here they blew us the whole day. I do not understand how it can be that someone who is dedicated to working with the public can serve in that way. (Blonde waitress between 45/50 years old). Otherwise, this whole area is worth visiting ...
