We are holders of a barrel which was sold to us as arran whisky but has been held on the main land for most of its life, they advertise the idea as an island whisky. I would not recommend this distillery. No explanation or apology

Great place, didn't get to do tasting due to lockdown but plenty to take away
Ian Rowell 09/07/2020
Great effort has been made to keep the shop running with all the social distancing guidelines. What's more, these guys are doing it with a smile

Nipped in for a quick visit on the way from the ferry down to our accommodation in Lamlash. Sadly due to covid they aren't yet operating distillery tours at the time of our visit (5th August) but the shop is open and tastings are available. Staff were friendly and helpful. Toilets open. Gift shop has a good selection of souvenirs for whisky lovers amongst other nice Scottish souvenirs. If you're a whisky fan visiting Arran, this is a must do!

As we could only visit part of the shop due to lockdown it wasn't as fun as it could be but I went last year as well and it was pretty interesting but be warned, have at least 100 pounds in your pocket as the Haris Tweed shop and the cashmere shop and the the drinks are very expensive.but overall it was enjoyable apart from the one way system and the fact that when I bought a hipflask it leaked but it might just have been a faulty product as my brother's didnt.
