The place is quaint and the cuisine is certainly good. I am forced to give a low judgment because the owner, unfortunately, with us, was somewhat arrogant and intrusive. We were almost afraid to express our preferences regarding the proposed menu. We were practically forced on what to eat. To read the other reviews it seems instead that kindness is inherent to this place, so I hope that the negative experience was only an exception and that we were just unlucky. Sin

Felt like staying with my grandmother on Sundays. The best place I have eaten in all of Calabria so far. You sit down and you don't have to say anything, they take everything to you until you burst. And come with the light wallet! Here it is like staying at home

I ate last night in this typical Trattoria with absolutely "local" cuisine and I had a great time !!! Mrs. Graziella is the "home cook" who brings traditional Calabrian specialties to the table with joy, courtesy and familiar warmth. Moderate prices! Go there without hesitation !!

If you want to taste the typical Calabrian cuisine, this is the right place. Mrs. Graziella is sublime, with an unheard of kindness and cordiality. We almost thought we were eating at grandma's house. There is no menu, and it starts with a series of excellent vegetable-based appetizers. The pancakes were delicious, not to mention the olives and fava beans. The wine and main courses are also excellent (tripe and spicy Calabrian sausage with potatoes and peppers). Ms. Graziella also delighted us with several stories related to the history of Maida, a country full of past vicissitudes. The location is a bit small, but agrees with the type of cuisine offered and with the landscape in which it is located. Large portions and bargain prices (€ 12 menu excluding drinks). We will definitely be back, super recommended
