It's the most important and convenient bus terminal to take all over Penang Island and it's transit for mid point terminal of bus series 101-401E series..Each line was segmented for seperate bus routes clearly mentioned on route board at entrance of bus stop you can easily seen bus arrival timings at the end of stop on top monitor then they inform about each bus arrivals so we could easily able to catch our Bus but one major minus thing here now a days terminal turning into most unhygienic and bad smell on the corner and making all dirty thing's and stuffing on the 401 series bus stop . especially on waiting time it made people into uneasy for long time wait mainly on bad smells ..so please look on to this issue from Penang Corporation to watch this keenly .

Central hub for buses connecting to everywhere else in Penang! Really convenient to get to anywhere else, however I think the place could do some maintenance or upgrade because it is still the same old bus stop as it is years back! Convenient place thou if u need to take buses!

Bus service is okay... But the terminal is dirty & it smells.

You can go to lane 5 to PIA ( Penang International Airport ) which will cost you only RM2.70. You guys also can easily check ETA of each bus throught LED screen. It will help you guys a lot.

Dont buy tickets from private agents located near bus terminal to go KL sentral. These agents are unreliable. I was issued with two invalid tickets (by Grassland Agency near the terminal). I had to get down at Sungai Nibong bus terminal as it was booked by some one else. Watch out for fake tickets !
