GoodHope Hotel, Skudai Johor

I was assigned to this hotel for Quarantine. I have to say this hotel is a 3 or 4-star hotel with 5-star service. Even though the govt has made it clear we shouldn't be expecting hotel service under quarantine, the hotel staff has really gone out of the way to please the guests, many of whom have all sorts of requests. The room is clean, and the food is great. They also give care packs and condolence cards to those who have returned to Malaysia to attend funerals. This is a hotel with heart.

Was posted here for quarantine, I did not expect much from the hotel, but ended up being surprised to the upside and I'm leaving very happy. Rooms are clean and food has been outstanding, I would say the chefs here deserve a raise. Hotel staff have been nothing short but hospitable and warm. I came prepared with an Internet connection as I needed to work, the hotel WiFi was spotty at times and they did their best to get it sorted. Technical issues can be complicated, I fully understand. Thank you for this pleasant stay.

Old hotel but good service

Enjoying my SHN quarantine in this wonderful place, 4 more days to go. What I can say is happy time passes quickly, thanks to the hotel staffs who always try their best to make our day a good one. Well look after by a great team and all without exception polite and courteous, great job to Yasmin, Sharifah and their crews, not forgetting KKM & APM staffs. Appreciate their professionalism and support. Food is good, no complaints. 😋 👍 Little advice to those who have to work remotely and need internet access, please prepare yourself with alternatives, just in case internet service is unavailable.

Good location, reasonable price at pkp time, brackfirst very expressive.
