Worth the trip, make sure u visit the ship museum

Outstanding site although it is very remote and hard to reach. However this is part of its charm. Also it is one of the most blatant examples of ecological disasters. Located in the middle of the desert, it offers a good chance to think about what we are doing to our planet!

Great place to camp for the night, ship graveyard. Make sure to check out museum before heading here. Taxis up and down the road are available

A place to feel how far can humanity go in destroying the nature...
It's possible to go all the way hitchhiking from Nukus with no problem ;)

Interesting memorial which highlights the catastrophe which is the Aral Sea disaster. However, there isn't much to do except a small museum which isn't really worth the entry fee.
