Let’s go to Yangi Bazar this place is so beautiful and All over Five Star

Sunday’s are much better as people work in different jobs during the week and come open their shops on Sunday for some suzani seekers. That said it wasn’t too bad on Wednesday as there weren’t any tourists but us so my friends were able to negotiate better price for suzani. I came for silk nd cotton clothes and it’s a great place to be in as you can get really good price but you’d have to buy at least 5m because they mostly do bulk purchases. Do be aware if locals are taking you for food as they often bump the price up to get commission themselves so we ended up trying to move away from people who tried to grab us to take us to food stalls. Had great food at a small shop though and price is cheaper than Bukhara and Samarkand bazaars of course!

One of the largest bazaars in the country, it is located about 45 km drive from Samarkand, with a comfortable private car taxi, 15 dollars in two brought us waited and brought back to the hotel, Hazmat was very kind in accompanying us in the area more interesting than the large market where they sell everything, the Souzani area, where we were headed. The rest is all of Chinese import, but the typical Souzani are handmade! Only the experience of buying one is worth the excursion! The vendors jostle to expose their own fabrics, there is nothing but the embarrassment of choice, take the time you want and chat with them!
